Servant of the Day Leader: Kathy Spenhoff & Jeanine Weisshahn Servant of the Day is a short term service offered free of charge by members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. This service connects members who have various needs with members who would like to serve the Lord by helping others for a day, a few hours or whenever they can.
Some of the more common tasks we can do are:
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Proved transportation to church
- Run errands
- Shop
- Cook and deliver meals
- Visit shut-ins (short term)
- Provide clerical help for church staff
- Fold the weekly bulletins or the monthly Messenger
- Help new moms
- Do light housework
- Do light yard work
- And other simple tasks. . . . .
